Finance Secure Wealth ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website at financesecurewealth.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you visit our website or engage our services. By using this site, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways — information you give us and information gathered automatically as you browse.
Information you provide
- Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address submitted through our contact form, newsletter subscription, or consultation requests.
- Financial details (income, credit information, loan or insurance needs) that you voluntarily share during a consultation or application.
- Any documents you choose to upload or email to us in support of a loan, tax, or insurance request.
Information collected automatically
- Standard server log data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and time of visit.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to remember your preferences and measure which pages are useful.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiries and schedule consultations.
- To prepare, process, and service loan, mortgage, tax settlement, insurance, and investment products you request.
- To deliver our newsletter and service updates when you subscribe (you may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe page or the link in every email).
- To comply with legal, regulatory, and reporting obligations that apply to financial services providers, including identity verification and anti-fraud checks.
- To improve the content, accuracy, and performance of this website.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the limited circumstances below:
- Lenders, carriers, and partners: the minimum information necessary to process a loan application, insurance quote, or tax filing you have requested — with your written consent.
- Professional advisors: attorneys, accountants, and auditors we retain to serve your engagement.
- Authorities: when required by law, court order, or regulatory inquiry, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our firm or the public.
4. Data Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted transmission of data, restricted access based on role, and secure document storage. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so while we work diligently to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain customer records for the period required by federal and Virginia law applicable to financial records — typically a minimum of seven years after the end of a relationship — and we securely dispose of records that are no longer required.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Access: you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: you may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: where no legal obligation requires retention, you may request deletion of certain personal data.
- Marketing: you may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or visiting our unsubscribe page.
7. Cookies
Our site uses cookies to keep the site functioning (essential cookies) and to understand usage patterns (analytics cookies). You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will remain usable, though some conveniences may be reduced.
8. Third-Party Links
This site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.
9. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
